Re: Temporary External Generator Rental
Dear Shareholders,
As you are all aware, a couple of weeks ago we had a generator that failed in the power plant that caused the complex to lose power. The generator was sent out and the repair will take a minimum of 6-8 weeks, which will take us through the end of the summer.
In addition, we have been experiencing issues with engine #2 and over the last week, we had several instances where we were close to having outages. In order to minimize the risk of another outage, we need to rent a temporary external generator, like the one we had on the property last year.
This temporary generator will arrive in the property early next week and will be installed outside the power plant. The generator is going to be noisy. We will be running the generator continuously for the next two months.
I want to stress the importance of energy conservation during this heat wave and the remainder of the summer, but also the necessity of checking your medical back up equipment, if this pertains to you. Please make sure that your equipment is properly working and charged on a periodic basis.
