Dear Shareholders,
As most of you are aware, last night we lost power to the residential buildings. The power plant and shopping center were not affected. As you are also aware from my previous memos, engine 2 is experiencing sporadic malfunctions, which is what happened last night causing the power outage.
The temporary rental generator has arrived and the hook up was completed yesterday. However, the temporary rental generator was not available last night because we experienced issues with the generator’s computer system. An engineering technician will be on site this morning to troubleshoot and remedy the problem. We expect the temporary rental generator to be operational by this afternoon. The temporary rental generator will remain online for the next two (2) months. Once this temporary generator is online, we can take down engine 2 and assess it properly to see what is causing the malfunction.
I want to remind everyone of the necessity of checking your medical back up equipment, if this pertains to you. Please make sure that your equipment is properly working and charged on a periodic basis.
In closing, I wanted to take this opportunity to thank the Power Plant, Public Safety and Maintenance staff for their quick response times and work. Power was fully restored within 30 minutes.
