Re: Storm Update
Dear Shareholders,
As you are all aware, we have been experiencing bouts of torrential rain since early this morning.
Big Six experienced flooding in several of the basements, in the boiler room and the elevator pits. Luckily, we had the equipment and staff on hand to avert any major damage.
Originally, we planned to shut off the boilers which meant no hot water to buildings 6 and 7, but we were able to get the situation under control where that was not necessary.
Rain is forecasted through tomorrow afternoon. In an abundance of caution, we are keeping all laundry rooms closed through 10:00 A.M. tomorrow morning. In addition, the B car elevator (the one that goes to each basement) will also remain closed through at least tomorrow morning. We will reassess the situation as necessary and update you accordingly.
