Re: MAINTENANCE INCREASE – Effective April 1, 2023
As per the NYC HPD Commissioner’s Order distributed yesterday, pertaining to the 21% increase effective April 1, 2023, the simplest way to calculate your new maintenance amount would be as follows:
Current base maintenance ONLY x 21% = new increase amount
New increase amount + current base maintenance = NEW MONTHLY BASE MAINTENANCE
This will give you the NEW MONTHLY MAINTENANCE AS OF APRIL 1, 2023.
Do not include: parking, storage, A/C or Utility Pass-through charges when calculating this increase.
