Public Safety Department

Our Public Safety Department is managed by Hasko Muric and directed by Jerry Newman. All of our staff are sworn in by the New York City Police Commissioner (and/or designee) and trained and certified through the NYS Division of Criminal Justice Services.  Each officer undergoes continual training in law, police procedure, tactics and a host of certified training to include Active Shooter/Attack and Biological Incidents Awareness.

Our officers are empowered to make lawful arrests, conduct searches and seizures under the Fourth Amendment of the U.S Constitution, issue summonses returnable to criminal court as well as fines adjudicated by the NYC Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings.

Our officers are on duty 24 hours a day/7 days a week. There are always two officers on duty and prepared to respond to shareholder calls. At various times Management and the Director will have extra officers on duty if there are situations or events requiring additional protection.
