Power Outage Update – July 6, 2026
Dear Shareholders and Residents,
On Monday, July 6, 2026, Big Six Towers experienced a brief power outage at approximately 11:10PM. Power was fully restored to all buildings by approximately 11:28PM.
The outage was caused by an unexpected fuel pump failure, which prevented fuel from reaching one of the engines and caused it to lose load. This incident was not related to an engine malfunction or an electrical load issue. Our Power Plant staff responded immediately by manually switching to the redundant fuel pump, restoring the engine to service and power to all buildings as quickly as possible. The failed fuel pump will be repaired immediately to restore full redundancy.
Please note that the temporary rental generator would not have prevented this outage, as it also relies on a functioning fuel delivery system.
Work to connect the temporary rental generator is scheduled to begin on July 8, 2026.
