Dear Shareholders,
At approximately 2:52PM today, the entire complex experienced a sudden power
outage. We want to assure you that this issue was not caused by any of the engines
within the power plant.
Following an immediate investigation by our power plant team, it was determined that
the outage was caused by an electrical short originating from one of the shopping
center’s commercial tenants. The short was powerful enough to trip the entire power
plant, resulting in a full complex shutdown.
Through a process of elimination, our team identified that the source of the short came
from Key Food. As a protective measure, the power plant restored electricity to the rest
of the complex at approximately 4:46PM but temporarily shut off power to Key Food
until the issue within their space is resolved.
Currently, we are still working to determine exactly which component or system in Key
Food’s electrical setup is causing the short and blowing the fuse. We will not be able to
restore power to their store until the underlying cause is addressed, as reconnecting
them would once again trip the breaker and impact the entire property.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work on this matter. Please rest
assured that our team is actively coordinating with Key Food and electrical professionals
to resolve the issue as quickly and safely as possible.
